Taunting Krell - coming out this Friday!!! Oct 14th

I got the cover!!! I love Syneca. She's the cover artist who does most of my books. I think she's brilliant!

Taunting Krell is the 7th Cyborg Seduction book and more books are planned. Here's the blurb.

Krell hates humans. They left him scarred and undesirable to females. He’s lived a lonely existence in his home world because of their brutality. He is angry when he’s ordered to interrogate the captured human but she’s the enemy, a soldier from Earth. He’ll show her the same mercy they showed him. None.

Cyan didn’t expect to survive her mission against the Marcus Models but she was stunned and elated when she was confronted by cyborgs. The past and present collide when she sees Krell. He is part of a dangerous secret from another life but he is completely irresistible to her.

Krell is persuaded to keep Cyan in his home while he learns everything about her. He’s certain she can’t be trusted but she uses her body to distract him. He’s determined to keep her at a distance but Cyan is just as determined to get the big, sexy cyborg into her bed.

The excerpt is up at Ellorascave. I am hoping that it's loaded onto Kindle and B&N pretty quickly. Ellorascave is located in Ohio and they release books when the office opens at 9:00 am.

I hope everyone has a fantastic week. I'm also hoping to have a release date to announce within the next few weeks for Justice - the 4th New Species book.

  1. Hi Laurann,
Congrats on your awards, you're the best!!!This Friday I will be reading Tormenting Krell and not waiting for Amazon.I'm out of the dark ages since I learned from other readers about Calibre. No more reading on my kindle in PDF with 2.50 reading glasses and a magnifying glass.I think you are the best and I feel you are a really down to earth person who loves her fans.Thank you for being you.I was wondering about those Marcus Models. They are suppose to be so bad but not bad enough not to care about others like themselves to want to free them from earth by trading the cyborgs.Maybe they have a little bit of humanity in their mechanical bodies.Have you ever thought of giving them a story.I think it would be very, very interesting.

  2. Friday is not coming quick enough!!!! I am really excited for this book to come out. I think Krell is going to be my favorite. I fell in love with him in Zorus's book and there was only a very small portion about him.

  3. I have to agree with Allysen. The Marcus Models need a novella story. I tend to disagree about the small bit of humanity though... that's what makes them the ultimate bad guys..... and a little side note :^) HOT COVER FOR KRELL!!!! WWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO

  4. I have been impatiently waiting for Krell's book since Redeeming Zorus came out. I will be on vacation out of town but the minute I get back, I am buying it.

  5. LOL! I don't have any plans yet to write about the Markus Models as sexy. I'll think on it though. LOL! I'm glad that you found ways around the kindle, Allysen. They are loading them up there faster though.

Yeah, I had planned to write Sky's story before Krell but um...he grabbed my imagination and wouldn't let go. Sky will probably be next in this series or the guy you're going to meet in Krell's story. LOL!!! I can't resist. Really. I keep adding more cyborgs to my list to write because I love them!!!

  11. I am dying for the last New Species book. Can't wait to find out about Justice he deserves his own book. Then maybe after his book we can have one about 927?

  12. Anon, I wrote the first nine so time ago and 927's story wasn't written but when I'm done updating the original ones and editing them...I do plan to write new ones. : ) Justice is the next book, it's already updated and turned in.

  13. I don't know who the other 5 New Species books are about, but would love to see books about Brass & Tiger (since he's so insistent he doesn't need a female in his life). A few more healthy pregnancies thrown in would be nice, too.

  14. I'm with you, CrazyAmmoB. Krell had a very small part in Zorus' book but he reached right off the page and grabbed me, too. Please, Laurann...keep those cyborgs a-comin'!!

  15. Wow, a month has gone by already and I didn't even notice it. Well, at least I am pleasantly surprised that I will get to read Krell tomorrow! My mind has been somewhere else.

As some of the posters above, I have really hoped to see a book about him as soon as he was mentioned in Redeeming Zorus. There was just something about him that caught my interest. :) I think you know that quite well. LOL

Oh a drawing context!!! Hopefully by the time you tell us about it, I will have some time to participate in it. My father-in-law just underwent surgery and hopefully will have a speedy recovery. I intend to make sure he is doing well before leaving his side.

  16. LOL. Tiger is book #7 in the NS series. Brass' story was about 80 percent done when I stopped writing the series. I plan to finish it. It isn't numbered. I have to read it to see the placing. It's either book #10 or #11 (there are 3 books that are mostly written but I never finished). I plan to write more of them after that. I have a bunch of partials for characters that I started - wrote a few chapters for, to remind me of where I'd wanted to go with their stories. LOL.

Krell had to be written right after Zorus. LOL! He was one of those characters that grabbed me too...and so has a new cyborg in his book which you'll meet. LOL! I'm working in my free time on that story and Sky's.

Rivendark - I hope your father-in-law gets better super fast!

  20. Cannot wait for Justice's story. Just finished Slade and Valiant over the weekend and they were wonderful!!!!

  21. Well, it is October 17, 6am and Barnes and Noble STILL don't have Taunting Krell! Any idea when they will? I was so looking forward to it, I even went into the store to ask why it wasn't available yet. They couldn't even find it in their computer, which usually lists up-and-coming books.

I look forward to reading Justice, too.

  22. Marie, hoping Justice gets a November release. It's looking hopeful that it will.

L.S - I just checked and they finally loaded it. It gets sent out at the same time to all third party places so I don't know why they are so slow to load. I'm sorry for the wait.

  23. Well...I hope you're proud of yourself, Laurann, you've competely screwed up my sleep cycle! I haven't had a full night's sleep since I found your books! In fact, several times I've stayed up all night just to finish it! lol. Your cyborgs are super hot and so are the Species males. I know it's asking a lot....but could you crank them out a little faster?? lol. All kidding aside, you are incredibly talented & I'm thrilled I stumbled across your books. THANKS!

Oh...I know you said the next book might be about a character you introduced in Krell's story, but my vote is for Sky....if nothing else he has seniority!

  24. Hey Laurann, the first book I read of your's was Fury, since then have worked my way through rest of New Species (can't wait for Justice, so glad he's next) all Zorn Warriors and all Cyborgs. I especially loved Steel and Ice, I agree with previous comment, would realy love to read Sky's story, he sounds lovely! Only prob with reading your books is you've spoilt me for any others, while waiting for Justice, I have already read Krell - twice, im scrolling through my kindle sighing cos I cant find anything I wana read! Far as other authors go you're fast but would love for you to be faster lol! Sooo talented, please keep working hard lol

  25. Anon#1 - LOL. I take pride in depriving readers of their sleep! LOL! (kidding). I look at it this way. It's better that you lose sleep reading a book you enjoy than having a book PUT you to sleep because you're bored. LOL! I'm writing and editing as fast as I can. Sky is getting a story.

Anon#2 - Sky's story will be along in the near future. That's so sweet of you to say about being spoilt. LOL! Thank you.
