Nov 11th - Justice!

November 11th! Whoo Hooo! The blurb and excerpt are up. Click on the cover and it will take you to Ellorascave for the excerpt.

Here's the blurb -

Book 4 in the New Species series. The books can be read as stand-alone stories, but it is advisable to read them in order to get the most enjoyment from the series.

Book 4 in the New Species series. The books can be read as stand-alone stories, but it is advisable to read them in order to get the most enjoyment from the series.

Justice North is the face of New Species. Seeing him up close makes Jessie’s heart race. He’s the ultimate alpha male—big, muscular, exotically beautiful…and dangerous. Of course he’s off limits. But then the sexy man purrs and all bets are off.

Jessie Dupree is a mouthy, fiery human female who brings out the animal in Justice. He wants to get to know her a lot better. They go to his room to share dinner but she wants to show him how to relax. He’s all for anything she wants to do but Justice has sworn to protect his people and to take a Species mate. He’s torn between the woman he wants and the oath he’s taken.

Jessie knows a relationship between them probably won’t end well but she wants to free the wildness inside Justice and spend every moment she can steal wrapped around his hot body, making him roar with passion. She’s going to get her heart broken because she doesn’t want it to end at all.

My last book, Taunting Krell, was loaded at Amazon/Kindle about 4 hours after it was released at Ellorascave. I am HOPING that Justice loads JUST as fast! Fingers crossed! I don't know why but it seems to take a lot longer for other sites to load the books. (B&N the slowest - ARE (allromanceebooks) the second to fastest besides Kindle. I was told they are all sent out at the same time so I have no clue why it's that way and I'm sorry if you have to wait on those sites.

Have a great week and Happy Halloween!!!

  3. I don't know. The thing I loved about Valiant is he was head over heels from the start. It looks like Justice is going to resist falling in love and that irritates me. But I am still looking forward to Justice's book.

  6. Thanks everyone. I'm updating the original NS books and writing new series books for my other ones. Whichever books are done first will be coming out in that order. I have no clue which will finish first. LOL.

  7. If you're moving does that mean the NS will also have another facility where you will be located at? Just thinkin' ahead

  8. Cheryl, LOL! They were already taken to the desert when they were first freed while they were waiting for Homeland to be ready for them. (Boy, there's a hint where I'm moving to but I won't be located in some remote area far from other people. LOL)

  9. Hello, I'm Brazilian and I read all your books released since the first! When I see the list of "soon" I'm anxious days to be published. I love his books and had it published a weekly basis I would buy! LOL

Sorry for English: I use a translator to read and write!

  12. Laurann, I clicked on the post and it looks like EC has taken the page for Justice down. Is there a new link? BTW, have the date circled and at 12:01 a.m. on 11/11 I will be at my computer with the Nook fired up and ready to go...

  14. Thanks. The link to Justice was taken down for a short period of time. The comment section is ONLY for book reviews and some readers were making comments before it was released so they had to pull it to remove them. It's back now. : ) The book releases at Ellorascave first at 9am Ohio time. I added the counter to the blog and my website home page so you know exactly when it's available (the time zones confuse me too...LOL) The counter helped last time so I'm going to keep doing it. Taunting Krell was added to Kindle about 4 hours after it released at Ellorascave but it wasn't added to B&N for about a week after it was released at Ellorascave. I don't know why they load so slowly there. :( Hopefully this time it will be put up much faster for Nook readers.

LOL! You know,I had exactly the same reaction when I saw the cover. I thought of a Roman emperor sojourning in Villa San Michele in Anacapri. Must be an Italian thing.

Looking forward to reading this book. :) And I always forget to ask, but do the 75 books you signed up to write include the ones you have already written? Or is it in addition to? :)

  19. Mel,
get Calibre, select the device you use (for example Kindle color) during setup, add your books with the Add Books button. You can convert them to EPUB with the Convert Books button (unless they are DMR protected - send me an e-mail if you need help on that), then when you are done, attach your kindle to the PC using the provided USB cable, wait until it is recognized (You may get a pop-up asking what you what to do with the newly connected device. You can "Open Folder to View Files, if you wish but it is not necessary). A send to device icon will appear on the Calibre icons bar, highlight the book(s) you want to put on Kindle from the list, click send to device, and you are done. Remember to Always EJECT the device before unplugging it from your PC either using the option provided by Calibre or by the green arrowed icon on your task bar (Safely Remove Hardware).

I would suggest you to "watch the calibre demo" on their main page for a better idea.

Alternatively, if you do not wish to get Calibre, connect the Kindle to your computer by plugging the USB cable. When plugged into a computer, the Kindle is recognized as an external hard drive.
Click on "My Computer" and double click on the external hard drive to open the Kindle directory. In the directory are several folders.
Double click on the "Documents" folder. From your PC, find the book you want to put on your kindle, drag and drop it in the Kindle's "Documents" directory. As always, remember to Safely Remove Hardware once you are done.
