My weekend....

You won't see me much this weekend. I'm finishing up my WIP. It's dubbed 'Kissing Steel' and it's a second book I'm writing that follows 'Burning Up Flint'. I'm in the future, surrounded by Cyborgs, and as you can see above... I played with some stock photos I bought to get me in the mood. LOL. I LOVE playing with stock photos! It motivates me to write looking at them. LOL!

So... I have to finish up with 'Kissing Steel' and the big plan... barring family drama... is to finish this up this weekend, wrap it up, so that I can start on self edits by the beginning of the week so I can send this in! That's the plan. I love it when plans work but we'll see.

We're getting wet here in Southern California as another rain storm hit last night. I'm having to admit that as much as I wanted rain... the last storm kind of rid me of my need for it. I'm cold, it's miserable, and I just want the sunshine back! LOL. I can't really complain although... my mini van REALLY needed a dousing. It sure got it! I haven't had time to clean the poor thing so yeah... the rain did it for me. I know it's not the same as actually washing it but no one will be able to write 'wash me please' on any of the windows of it anymore. (Usually my children do that to my poor van, probably in an attempt to make me feel guilty enough to hose it down...LOL).

So... that's my plan this weekend. Wrap up 'Kissing Steel', start editing it, write the dreaded synopsis and blurb when I'm all done... and try to stay dry and warm! I hope everyone has a terrific weekend!!!
