Mine to Chase is out and some related news



Today is release day! Mine to Chase is a novella related to the short story of Scarred and Kilt that I wrote for the Something Wicked This Way Comes - Volume 2 anthology (Vampire).

I'd also like to share that Lethal's story will be coming out in the near future. (You'll know who he is if you read Scarred and Kilt or/and Mine to Chase).

Mine to Chase is available at Ellorascave and Kindle so far. I just checked other vendors but haven't spotted it yet.

Jasmine met the guy of her dreams, who unfortunately wasn’t interested. She’s spent a year filled with lustful fantasies and soul-deep yearning for a man who doesn’t want her. Now she’s locked away in a dark hole, kidnapped by a madman, her life almost over. She’ll never know what could have been, if only he’d felt the same.

She was supposed to be his a year ago, but Chase had walked away to protect her from his world. He’s a mixed-breed—vampire and werewolf—and his list of enemies is endless. His current mission is to hunt down and kill a rogue vamp who’s preying on humans, but what Chase finds changes everything. Jasmine’s one of the victims. Instinct demands he protect her, possess her.     I usually buy my books through B&N but i COULD NOT wait for it so i purchased a visa gift card and bought it. Reading it now and im loving it! So glad i got it now instead of waiting!:)

      I also have a Nook and B&N is ALWAYS slow putting new releases on their website. For you other Nook owners, who are as impatient as I am when it comes to Laurann's books, you can go to Amazon and download the Kindle for PC and read the books on your computer. Not as mobile as your e-reader but at least you don't have to wait WEEKS until B&N uploads them. Nice touch dedicating the book to Ruben and using him on the cover...very classy, Laurann...very classy. Well done!

      If you have an Iphone you can get kindle app for that and take your books with you. the app is free! I have all her books with me at all times. LT

    Hi Laurann! I'm reading Mine to Chase right now, and loving it. As usual with your writing, I'm being drawn in to the lives of the characters, the main ones as well as the supporting players.
    What a treat to tide us over till we get to read Moon!

    I have no control over when books load at sites. They get sent out and it's up to the sites to load them. I'm hoping that B&N gets it loaded soon and I'm really sorry that you have to wait.

      I spoke with Martha at EC a couple of weeks ago, Laurann, (about B&N being so slow) and she assured me that new e-book releases are sent to ALL third party vendors (Amazon, B&N, Sony, etc.)at the same time and it can take up to SIX WEEKS for them to upload to their website. This one falls squarely on B&N ladies...not Laurann or EC.

    Just started reading the NS serie!! Can't wait for more to come! Hope to see Vengenance, Brass, Flame and Breeze as main characters soon!! Think Breeze and Trey would make an awesome story line! Keep up the good work!

    Hi Laura,

    I just began reading your books late last year and I really love your writing style. I've read all the New Species series and now have just began the Zorn Warrior. Love loooooove them. Even though fiction your characters are very believable and you really draw me in with your stories. Love that you use real women. Would love if one of your heroine is a woman of color :).     Why in new species are there two named destiny? A male one and a female one, all the others seem to have individual names x cant wait to read moon!!!

    And why Darkness in one book (Fury) is canine and in the other(Obsidian)he's feline.
    Are there two different NS males named Darkness?

    Destiny is a female in fury ( chapter 6 ) and a male in obsidian. Im loving all of lauranns books especially new species ,x

    There are two Destiny's. One female, one male. Darkness is feline. He was a blood match for Fury but he came with all the Canines to the hospital. :)

    Hi Laurann loving the NS series! I'm on my 4th time through the series! I'm happy to hear that Moon will recover! I really loved his character in the other books same with Flame's! I hope you never run out of characters for this series! They are all believable stories and makes we want to help rescue them all! I feel like it's a place we could actually live at. I know I would not mind hooking up with a NS! Lol! Thank you for a great series! We are all out here excited about your new book coming out and the waiting is killing some of us! Lol!

    I would love to get Midnight's story with the young doctor! I was very happy with Shadow because LD finally featured a species female. How about Creek's story? LD you left me with questions!!
