What I'm doing

I'm getting ready for Romanticon. It's being held in Richfield, Ohio between October 7th -10th. If you click on the picture above it will take you right to the site. Registration is OPEN so I'm hoping to meet a lot of people there. I've been making all kinds of lists. Things I need to buy, things I have bought, and little note reminders to give to my mother-in-law who is going to step into my shoes literally for the five days we're gone. She's brave enough to take on my three younger children so I'm leaving her the keys to my minivan, the house, and a ton of notes to help her take care of my monsters - both in children form and feline. Have you ever thought about all you do in a day and then thought about the notes you'd have to write to someone to take over what you do? WOW. I never realized I had to know so much until I put myself in the shoes of someone coming into my home. LOL. Everything from how to work your entertainment stuff to what kind of things you have to watch out for. As an example... my 3 cats will knock anything over so never leave anything unattended like drinks or food. I have to tell her that if she hears LOUD noises at night.... don't freak out. It's my cats playing chase and knocking everything off any surface they are jumping on. At night they get a little wild between 1-3 a.m. One of them is named Gizmo for a reason and she's prone to wake us up by walking ON us around that time while we're sleeping. LOL. Ashes is the one who usually does the chasing and she likes to torment the other cats by waiting until they are sleeping and knocks them on the floor for fun. Cali is the one who always needs attention so if she cries... that's why and she won't stop until she's petted. She also has a love for waiting until I'm asleep and going for my hair. She likes to lay on it and attempts to use her paws to style it for me. LOL. Rat's Nest is IN according to her styling preference.
.
I have been busy in life so I haven't gotten much writing done lately. I've been editing what I've written and catching up on my reading. Over the weekend was my husband's company picnic and that was a LOT of fun. I forgot my camera ( was too busy getting the kids ready...) but it was okay because I bought this really neat MP3 player that takes pictures AND video. I used it to take some videos and then when I came home... I put all the clips together for the kids and made them a DVD to play on their TV. They really love the instant memories they can watch a million times over and over. Kids are funny that way. I got a bit sunburned so I feel like something the cat dragged in. I'm feeling better today but just not quite myself but I'm hoping tomorrow I will be 100 percent but the kids came down with a cold today, ALL THREE of them, and I'm wondering if it's not so much sunburn but me getting the beginning of what they have. Oh...JOY!

FOUR books are heading your way so far in the near and dear future. I'm waiting on edits for Berrr's Vow ( 4th Zorn Warrior book ) and for Mate Set ( no series unless it does really well and people ask for more...LOL ). Propositioning Mr. Raine ( First book in the Riding the Raines series) is coming out July 30th and at the end of this month on June 30th - Melting Iron is going to be released! Yippee! There's the four! I should be submitting another book soon. I have a few WIP's that I'm working on. Even with the time off I've taken this past week... It's all good. I'm cracking the whip tomorrow and will jump back into writing so I can close out some WIP's because I've had some really good ideas ( I think ) for some new ones I want to start.

I hope everyone has a great week!
