I have said it before... I'm a visual writer. I always hunt up photos at stock photo sites and find a model... and I use him as my muse for a character. I will put a picture of the model I found on my 24 inch wide screen monitor, have him on one half of my screen to glance at while I use the other side to write the story on in my Microsoft Word program. There is this photographer named Vishstudio. He can take photos of men in a way that is pure art in my opinion! LOL. I use a lot of his stock photos that I buy from dreamstime and from 123rf to make my book trailers and some of my website banners from. Occasionally some of his models become my Muse for characters. When I wrote Propositioning Mr. Raine... one of his models caught my eye. I changed the photo ( I put up the stock one here ) but as I wrote the book... I did that split screen thing so HE (the model) was my Navarro Raine!
Now when I sent in a cover request for Propositioning Mr. Raine... I didn't send in a photo of my MUSE. It wasn't even mentioned. So you can imagine my shock and amazement when I got the cover and guess what? LOOK at the model I used as my muse and then LOOK at the cover...
Yes, it's the SAME model!!! What are the chances? Really??? Isn't that just amazing and awesome? Talk about a cover artist just NAILING a book perfectly!!! ( his belly ring and tat was removed for the cover but that is the same model. WAY COOL. Sooooo perfect and just... blew me away! So... there's my new book cover that not only do I seriously love but it's just SO COOL that the book cover has the real Muse for the book ON IT!!!
Here's the book trailer -
